Running has become all the rage, and honestly, it’s for good reason. I’ve been actively running for nearly fifteen years and can say without a doubt that it has changed my life for the better. The sport has given me so much purpose, from a support system of friends when moving to New York, to a way to give back to the community as the Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Race Director. The improvement in my physical and mental health seals the deals as to why I advocate for any and everyone lacing up those sneakers and getting out there.

Now I want to help YOU experience some of those positive effects by supporting you as a run coach.

Whether you are literally at the starting line of your running journey or you’ve been getting in the miles and want to take it farther, you could probably use some advice. Let’s chat about your hopes, dreams, and aspirations as a runner and athlete. From this conversation, we can decide if we’d like to explore tackling those dreams together.

 

Form the Plan

PRE-TRAINING ASSESSMENT - $50

We’ll take the time to assess what a training plan looks like in the context of your life. We’re going to get personal because running involves more than just the actions of sweating it out. We will go over things like your day-to-day routine, your current fitness levels and activities, your health and injury history, and what you would like to achieve from our working relationship.

This conversation does require pre-work in the form of a short questionnaire to make the most of the hour we have together.

 

Execute the Plan

MONTHLY RUN TRAINING - $150 / MONTH

Based on the pre-training assessment, I’ll put together a training plan that provides a roadmap to success, whatever that looks like – could be a goal race, reaching a certain distance, or just being consistently active.

What can you expect each month? In addition to the overall training plan, you’ll get:

  • Weekly check-ins by video / phone about the workouts [and life!]

  • Guidance on how to fuel properly for your workouts, how to cross-train to provide you with variety, and how to prepare for achieving the goals that we determine together

  • Support anytime you have a question or concern via phone / text / email

  • Monthly in-person run with me, as long as you’re local* AND not faster than me**

    • * If you’re not local, we’ll figure out something – I love to travel.

    • ** I know how to ride a bike, so we can make it work.
